Hardwiring your devices for internet – to reduce wi-fi exposure…. an update on how to do this (after much trial, error and learnings!)
Shout out to the wonderful Bronwyn Bennett from @Creating Healthy Spaces Building Biology for her knowledge and help here too.
Thank you Melissa Raymond on doing such great investigating and feedback! New title Melissa IT Detective
Thank you Shaine Dyus! Took a bit but I worked it out!
Well Done Melissa Raymond Im so pleased you persisted with the hard wiring. Hope you are all sleeping better in a radiation free “white zone”.
Also the challenging thing for the iPad devices are the keyboards too…. another kettle of fish!
Your Journey to Healing with Melissa Raymond Yes – keyboards require bluetooth, so I’m not sure of easy solutions.
We almost need a disclaimer regarding cabling tripping hazards. Wiring the iPads have been tricky and so sensitive. I visited the Apple Store and the workers had no idea regarding the how to hard wire. You’ve just reminded me to ensure that devices are all used sitting at a desk or table and not on laps even if hard wired.
I also have the iPad adaptors that Im not using if anyone wishes to try…
Thank you Bronwyn Bennett!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Brilliant Mel!
No stone left unturned. I admire your calm tenacity and hope to get mine sorted one day soon too! All our are Apple devices ( iPhone, iMac, ipads).
